Quick Question!

I'm on a plane headed for Scotland. The plan to move to some land and start our own little piece of heaven has completely inundated my thoughts over the last few days/weeks.

I'm bored on the plane and reading through old threads. It got me thinking about books. Can anyone recommend a title that can be downloaded to a Kindle that is about this lifestyle? I'm not really looking for the how-to type books, I've already purchased a few of those. I'm looking more along the lines of non-fiction stories by people who have done it, their struggles, their successes, etc. Like Dick Proenneke.

I'm all ears. I need something to read for the next 8 hours.
