Ok I Always Try To Give My Best

Since we have been here raising Chickens and Rabbits. I have lost two Chickens because of a Hawk. Lost 4 Rabbit Kits because they didn't get covered good during the cold. These problems were taken care of. Had one Rabbit get sick and die What I'm saying most part I take care of my stuff.

Thing is every time I sell or give anyone any Poultry or Animals they lay down and die on them. Good thing is they never blame me but they have no idea what happen.

Also we have been buying Raw Milk off a Old Order Horse and Buggy Mennonite. When we first started buying plenty of Cream and Milk kept well. Last couple weeks no Cream and Milk soured before it should have. This week plenty of Cream again, thinking the Milk will keep. I have no idea what she was doing. Oh I sold her a Rabbit. LOL

37 states now where it is legal to sell raw milk. I suspect more by the years end. People need to educate themselves on Raw Milk. It ain't the boogy man some make it out to be. Just like with any food, safe handling and common sense. You are more likely to get sick eating at McDonalds than drinking clean fresh raw milk.

Raw milk from properly cared for animals is a gift from God or Mother Nature.

It is how we are SUPPOSED to use it.

Rockpile, I've had the same experience as you. Folks get excited about having a goat, you give them all the info, they never read it, and the goat dies. They over feed, under feed, feed the wrong things, and don't keep an eye out for problems developing.

I'd rather sell them for barbecue than to a family for a pet.

Can't drink store bought milk because it makes me sick. I can get raw cow and goat milk and don't get sick at all. Talked to the doc about it and he said it's the junk they put in the milk is what I'm having a reaction to. He said as long as I'm doing good on raw milk to keep on drinking it.
