From Triticale to greengraze this week
ok, I have pastured the triticale and it has quit growing anyway. have cattle on the 16 acre patch. I mowed it off Saturday with a sickle bar mower and am ready to no till it with 100# greengraze for cattle to graze all summer. It is pretty bare, has some clover growing. Was killed off before the triticale was planted last fall.

So will it be ok without killing it off again to get the greengraze up???

have 320# 17-17-17 per acre on it Saturday........hoping to no till Monday or Tuesday.

thoughts???

If it isn't going to grow and be competition for the greengraze you are good to go....James
