A few comments:
1) there wasn't nearly enough background clutter for me to glean a bead on you. Usually when someone takes a picture of X, I'm looking at Y, Z, and ABC in the periphery and getting a highly entertaining glimpse of my own reality. Maybe I'll post some pics from around here so you can see what I mean.
2) was the firewood some of that fabled "free with permit" government firewood? And what's the deal with the woodshed. Am I doing something wrong by stacking it between T posts outside?
3) growing lettuce in a bag of potting soil? The Frenchies would not be impressed. They would probably say something in their snooty, French accent, about how both lettuce and potting soil can be purchased at Wal-Mart. But you and I know that today's lettuce-patch-in-a-bag is next year's terroir when it is dumped on the bare spot by the sidewalk come August.
4) every time I try to think of something snarky about the neighbor's camper, I imagine that they are my neighbors, which are awesome. Then all I think is "Man, they do a better job of mowing that corner of my property than I do."
5) overall, the place looks pretty awesome. You make it look "Missouri Proud".
