frost on new corn

Planted corn in garden first week in April. It is up about 2 inches. Temp this morning was 33 with frost on grass. Checked it about 11 AM and didn't see any damage. Very slightly warmer forecast for tonight.

Corn is Bloody Butcher field corn and Merit sweet corn.

If I recall correctly, the growing point of corn stays below the ground until the plant is 6" tall, so if it's shorter than that and you have frost it can live through it.

Even if it burns it back it should be fine. I'd put the growing point above geound closer to 3-4" then 6 though.
