Handy dandy new tool!

I try to post scores when I get them, and even though this one was a new purchase... Its still a score!

I build lots of stuff with pallets as I know a good few here do, I can get them tore down pretty easy...

Whats a pain is removing nails!

Took some scrap back the other day and the total cash I ended up with was just what I needed for this purchase!

Sign from God ,NO?

All right enough beating around the bush, the tool is the AP700 Denailer/Punch nailer, from tool locker and purchased on Amazon.

I'm sure its not the greatest thing on the planet and you could very well spend 400-500 for the nail kicker denailer then 95 bucks for the replacement punches, I really think though after a full day of use I'm ahead of the curve with the AP700, at around 65 dollars delivered with a replacement punch.

Again I only used it for the day and it wont kick out all the nails it does beat pounding them out. Its also great on those staples they use.

Well back to it , and tomorrow I'll be using my other tools to build some duck nesting boxes and a couple chicken coops for our new biddies.

So take my review for what its worth, but as of yet I'm very satisfied!

If I have any issues I'll update this post.

That costs a lot more... PB

Well it may have a bit more power and quality just was not in the budget.

Think this one will suffice for a while... and just what I saved in time and labor I think it already paid for its self.

So who Went and bought one? lol ...

They had stock of I think 9 when I posted this, earlier today it listed 2 in stock, now its saying in stock and my order originally was fulfilled by amazon, now it looks like tool
orbit is handling it but rather then 2 day free ship with Amazon prime its free shipping from tool orbit...

Any who was just curious...

Heres another handy dandy tool, thish one just cost a bit for electricity for the plasma cutter and welder...

The angle started out that size, I just cut the notch.
The pallets I like the most are built with the runner on the flat.
That is stringer nailed to the wide face of the 2x4 (more or less, very rough on the dimensions.)
So one of the comparable tools for sale would not work for me, and I don't have 0-100 bucks to spend...
The pipe is cut at a 45 on the end and I used a large washer on the back, to add a little Strength. I could not weld the whole of the pipe to the angle on the front side or it would not be useable.
I'm not the worlds greatest welder by any means but I dont think any ones breaking that weld!

Its designed so that you are breaking pallets from a elevated position (work bench)
With the forks towards you.
Makes quick work of the pallets!
Did not cost a whole lot either.
between the two... gonna save a lot of time!

Heres one more pic, thats the trailer I pick up pallets with.
Where I harvest them theres always enough for a load plus the truck bed too!

What you see on front is some steel tube pallets, I'll be building a Band saw mill with some and doing a few other projects with it.

The pallets in the pick took less then 2 hours to break down and denail. ( the way I use to do it took alot of labor time and toasted many a board) theres also pallets on the other side and a few that are not in the picture.

I have a very nice stack of boards going and will be picking up a trailers worth the weekend.

I did not get anything built yet, the snow we got the other day derailed me.

I decided better to get the trailer clean and get another load before I got going.
