It's the most wonderful time of the year

Drawbolt finding day. All found, straightened, handles fixed, painted. From the big 2" ones for the disk, VT, no-till drill down to the little fellows. It's like Christmas and Halloween combined.

Oh, man, do I remember Finding Day! Also the day you find stuff you could do without looking at...

A few years, this was when I found my keys. So now I have something like 3 extra pairs, and my main pair has a big star-shaped fob, and also a bright orange mini-tape measure dangling 3" down. No more lost keys!
arcticow and light rain like this.

Drawbolts, pins...they seem to scatter over time. It sure is nice when they all come home to roost.

I find that when I am searching for a lost thing, like a particular pair of channel locks, I will find the last thing that I was searching for but failed to find. I may not find the channel locks, but I still manage to have about a 51% satisfaction level.

Do you hide them for the kids to find on Sunday?

I buy so many pins and Channel Locks, I have one just about everywhere I might need them. Keys? I have a three year old boy who is training his little brother on how to loose keys. We even have hooks 5' up the wall that they climb up to get the keys. These boys are why I have so many pins. Pins are fun to play with.

Yeah I found my 24" channel locks on the weekend when the snow receded. Not sure which kid to blame for that

Don't have to wait for Finding Day here, just not run over lost pins and stuff and turn 'em under or break a drill disc...
