I make candles.I get my wicks from hobby lobby. I get my wax from my wifes spent sensie. I use a candel warmer to melt the wax.For forms i have used tolite papper rolls and beer cans.I have just saved a pringles can ,but haven't made it yet for lack of wax.

We were some of the first people in the country to make soy wax candles. Our problem was, we got tired of trying to get the "new idea" to take off, and we had a hard time making a go at it. We were doing it as a small business.
Fast forward a little, we sold our equipment, and all our remaining supplies to someone and we got completely out of it.
Two years later, soy wax is the greatest thing since sliced bread, and they were everywhere, so were the customers who wanted them......kicked myself hard for that one.

Anyway, back to the original subject. We got our wax from bitter creek candle supply, as well as our wicks, and our dye.
We got our glassware from lonestar candle supply
Our fragrance oils came from a company that is no longer in business.

My wife has been making them for years. One of the reasons for us deciding to try bees is for the wax. We're hoping to have them in next sprig and start harvesting wax in a couple years.

She started by buying her supplies from Nature's Garden in Wellington, OH - we were local at the time. She still gets some of her scents there, but she buys her jars off amazon, most of her wax locally, and I cut her wicks on my bandsaw out of oak off our place.
