Favorite Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer?

Hey guys! What is your favorite type/brand of something I can tell what temp it is in the house and also outdoors?

I really need something to help with this!

Thanks so much ! LQ

My favorite indoor-outdoor thermometer was inherited from my grandpa. It is made by Taylor but has a bigger logo for GM Diesel Power. Grandpa was a mechanic that work on diesel generator for a power company. It is plastic framed, with a dial indicator for inside temp and a probe through the wall for the outside temp, this is a mercery or alcohol style indicator.

We have a basic Weather Channel one, indoor/outdoor/time and barometer up or down. You can have 2 outside sensors. We've had it 8 years, still working great. My parents have one of the super fancy, large screen, everything on it with multiple sensors that they love.

I personally would love to have one that could go 300' + (300' is the farthest range I've seen) to know what the temp is in the garden. Our house is sheltered in trees but our garden is out in a windy field. But those get pricey.

I have a Acue Right wireless one. You put one in the house and another outside in a shady spot. The only thing is that you must change the battery every 3 or 4 month.

I had one of those wireless ones, but in winter when temps stay so cold the batteries just don't last very long at all. And if the snow is deep who in their right mind wants to walk in 2 feet of snow just to change some cotton picken battery when the dern thing quits working?
SO I got one of those Large Outdoor Thermometers mounted it on a tree and I see what temp it is day or night, winter or summer. I have a outside light that can shine on it so I can tell what temp it is anytime during the night also. LOL
I have had it which those wireless ones.
I just looked and it is -10º. and you see what time I am posting this. LOL

Our batteries last about 2 years, but our winter lows are teens at most.

Ours is from LL Bean. We have the senser in the carport about 20 feet from the house. Batteries are AA, and last about a year and a half. I think the senser is good to 100feet. Ours was a gift, so I can't tell you the price. Curt
