weighing the options

anybody weighing their feed/animals? I am looking for a hanging scale to measure out feed anybody have any preferences or experiences good bad or otherwise? I am mainly interested in using it to dole out the right amounts of feed so I can convert it into scoops worth etc, so when I am gone it's easy enough for the kids so we don't over feed especially on the layers I have an idea I have been way over doing it with the self feeder

You could just get a scoop of each item and put it into a paper bag. Take the bags to the feed store and measure them that way.

wally worlld has a digital food scale for about $15 that will go to 10# i use it a lot in making sasage or for counting stuff weigh 100 then repeat
