What time throughout the year would be the best time to buy a wood stove? After winter? Summer? Now? When have you all found the best prices? We are not in a hurry and can wait for the opportune time.

Logic says in the early spring after the wood burning season is over. However, the first rule of buying is to know what things sell for, so your idea of checking on prices is correct. In the spring they may be sold out of desirable products too, so you would have to wait anyway. Checking on prices now and deciding on what you want is the best immediate plan.
