Good, quality scythe supplies?

Hi y'all! I'm now the proud owner of a 28" Austrian grass blade, and I'm looking to buy a reliable snath and a good peening jib/natural whetstone. Because the blade is Austrian, I'm interested in getting an Austrian snath. Any recommendations for a supplier? Also, I've heard that if you're short--I think I qualify as petite--a curved snath is a better bet, but is that true?

Thanks!

I like the business above. I actually got a metal tube scythe handle with adjustable grips, got it from a online seller with an American(brush) style blade.

I am 6' 2" and the only scythe I have used, has a curved snath. It does not fit me well. You are probably right about the curved snath.

I didn't order from them, but found them several years ago when I was looking for a scythe.

I've ordered from both places and like both well. Like the above snath a hair bit better, but like the other as well.

WOW This is cool.
The scythe is still alive.
My best steps to getting my hands on one would be to walk out to the pump house. (The A-frame shed I built over the well pit)
Then head over to my tool trailer.
I know I have a couple extra blades, two full slightly curved handle ones and one more like those that has the grain cradle on it.
I will continue to pick them up when I find them for sale.
