Saw a set of these on a Grand Cherokee while heading for the back-country. They use it to shuttle to the end of their lane which is about 1/2 mile long and gets a ton of snow. Very cool and effective in nearly any depth of snow.

Thinking about a set for the quad.

Madison, WI is currently testing them on some 4WD pickups as snow rescue and recovery vehicles.

Great idea. Now instead of getting stuck in snow by the road, you can get stuck in snow so far in the back country that you have to wait til spring to get out.

I noticed how around 2:20 he was having to do packing runs before breaching the snowplow drift. Wonder why he knew to do that...
