Mating season may be starting early here... I heard a tom calling the other day. maybe someone just ticked him off!

We love watching the turkeys around our place, too.

The turkeys roost right across our fence line every night and fly down into our meadow, at the off grid cabin. 12-15 every morning....James

Wild Turkeys.......

We have a flock of about 30 or so that come down out of the State Forest, on the other side of our fence, once in a while. They go kinda crazy when something sets them off. They fly off in 2 or 3 different a directions. It's quite a spectacle.
They like to clean up around our bird feeders.
They come all the way down into the back yard if our dogs aren't out there.
Between the turkeys and the Deer, we get something to watch every other day or so.

Thanks so much for sharing the photos! I really miss seeing the fall turkeys since I left Montana. Seems like the same couple of birds were always waiting for us at the corner when we went to to whether on snow mobiles or the truck. Kind of looked forward to seeing how they were doing.
