Incubator Help Needed Badly

Ok, I am trying in the worst way to find a GQF incubator for my friend for Christmas. He's helped me so much on my farm and I know he would love to have one!! I found someone who has a incubator and hatcher set...but he used it for ostriches and it looks different than my 1202. Here's my question...my friend wants a self-turning GQF FOR CHICKENS. Can the two-shelf self-turner incubator (mine has 3 shelves) in the attached pics be used for chickens? I am considering buying this set but I have to know it can do the job. Thank you so very much!!

you need the trays for chickens. you'll get them from GQF. Ask them what you need to convert.
About 20 years ago, when ostrich were seen as big money makers, lots of incubators were made to handle those big eggs. Now they collect dust.
check ebay.com and eggbid.com

We use a GQF for all of our eggs, chicken and turkey.
You can buy the egg holders for any size from quail on up.
Just make sure that all of the parts work; the turner turns, the heating heats etc..
and clean it very well.

I've read that the fans for the ones set up for ostrich are higher capacity. Which I assume means it would still be ok for chickens but you might want to check it out to be sure. You sure don't want to gift something that's really expensive to find out you have to change a lot of expensive parts. If you can get the ostrich ones cheap, though, go for it! I would not be without my GQFs.
