I can't say enough good about STA-BIL !!!

Every year for ever I put up equipment in the fall and next spring it's a battle with the pull rope.(And it wins,a lot). So anyway last fall I finally remembered to buy some sta-bil. Last spring when it was time to fire up the gear, absolutely every piece of equipment I own fired right up. I couldn't believe it! It was great! Best purchase I've ever made!
Fast forward to last week. I've been cutting fire wood all summer and starting to haul it in now.I went out and fired up my old pick-up to start hauling in wood and guess what I found? You got it! The sta-bil was laying right there on the dash where I put it a year ago! That is some great stuff! Here all along I thought you had to actually mix it with your gas but it seems all you have to do is be willing to make the purchase! What a product! I'm impressed!
I'm thinking I'll leave it right there and see how many years this stuff works like that!

I don't know if Pri-G will work through osmosis, but supposedly it keeps treated gas longer than Stabil by at least twice. Couldn't find it locally, bought it from someone advertising on HT about a year ago.

Actually, we now put Stabil in all our gas for small engines around the home year round. It goes right into the gas as soon as we get it. The addition of ethanol in most fuels makes the gas "go bad" quicker. We have a lot less carburetor problems now.

I've found Stabil is decent, good for about a year.

I've found PRI-G good for at least 5 years in sealed containers.....long after Stabil gas had 'varnished' up.

At Amazon, of course! And Pri-D as well
We usually buy it in bulk through a co-op, but the chilluns not local find it easier to order from Amazon and have it delivered.

I have used Sta-Bil for years. I have a 6500W generator. I ran it 4 years ago & added Sta-Bil to the gas. It has been sitting since then with the carb empty but gas in the tank. Well the other day I decided to see if it would start. I pulled on it a few times no go then realized I hadn't turned the gas valve to the carb on. Turned it on a few pulls late it started up. I ran it for 20 minutes or so & shut it off. That gas has been in it for 4 years. So yes Sta-Bil works GREAT.
