A little help w/ my memory please!

Some years ago I read an article that was titled something like"self sufficiency on 3 acres" or something like that.I thought it was in mother earth news but I haven't been able to find it.Had great diagrams etc. of where to put what and why. I'd love to see this again. I'm hoping one of you have seen it and can point me in the right direction!

Thanks
Wade

Thanks Ohio! that's a nice reference but not the one I'm chasing! The other one has things like where to put you pond and why, build on the north side of the road so the southern exposure will melt the snow of the driveway, live east of your work so the sun won't be in your eyes driving.
Just tons of really good info.Wish i could find it again!

How about this one Wade?

It's by John and Sally Seymour. John Seymour has some really great books, but they've gotten pretty expensive these days. I got mine back when they were just a couple of dollars apiece.

BINGO !!!!!! I thing we've got a winner!! That's great! You wouldn't believe how many times I've tried to track this down! Thanks so much! Looks like I'm going to have to start researching how to buy these books at a decent price. Thanks again!

You're welcome, glad I could help!

Here's another good one by Ed Robinson, and it has diagrams. He and his wife Carolyn wrote "The Have-More Plan"

Again, you're welcome. I do a lot of internet research. Sometimes I do good and other times I can't find what's right under my nose, lol!

Check your local library for books by John Seymour. Could save you time and money.
