Last minute question- raw cranberries stuffed into the turkey?
We are having our Thanksgiving today- I don't put "stuffing" in the turkey but will be putting herbs, chopped apples and onions in there for moisture+flavour.
I grew cranberries... Can I stuff a handful or two in there raw prior to cooking?
Or, will it make the turkey acidic/nasty?
It's going in the oven soon I'm afraid... hoping to hear back soon. Thanks!

I put about 1 cup raw fresh cranberries in, and 8-10 dry dates to balance things out. And 3 apples, 1 large onion, rosemary thyme and marjoram, garlic, butter, I think that's it.
Should be fine.
