Check the height. Had a couple of smaller MF that were great, just didnt have as much room and had to be really careful in the mud and ruts

No thanks ,Way better deals out there for that kind of money it's not a john Deere Which cost more but hold value way better than a Massey . Go to tractorbynet.com and tractordata.com you'll get more information than you ever wanted on any type tractor out there .

WHat I meant to ask is, does anyone own one?

The one Im looking at comes with a disc, plow, pallet forks, and a couple other things.

What IM looking for is a durable loader/field tractor that can also handle deep snow during maple syrup season, and I hope to pay less than $20,000.

The only advice I can give is to really try it out and see if it fits you and your needs you have to be happy with it ,Tractors are just like trucks one guy may love it another not so much so the only real way to choose is with some seat time on a few different ones .They all are tough And if I didn't already have John Deere I'd probably look at the Massey line The best place to find current owners is tractorbynet.com

Check the pump pressure you can get a gauge on e-bay for about $5.00 most pumps can be shimmed to increase pressure if needed .

A friend/neighbor has a 471 2WD with a FEL. He's been satisfied with it. Not sure of the price, because of the implements. but at first blush it seemed high. It has a Perkins engine, which I've had good luck with in the past. I believe that tractor is a non-turbo, which means less maintenance headaches in the long run.
