Any OLtime gas station garage machanics here?

I bought one of those OLD gas station garage floor jacks Sat at the sale I go to. $7.00. It has 2 round gears. One, the bigger one goes to the action of the handle. A litter one, next to it, and on the same shaft, but I cant tell if there cast together or separately on the same shaft. The littler one goes to a bar shaft that runs towards the of in front. It was 2/3s up in the air when I bought it. I put it under a tractor and put another jack on it and jacked the tractor up with it. The pod went down and the handle moved some.
Anybody know about these jacks. They got 2 foot levers at the back, opn on each side. The R one has 4 wings. The L one has one for the dog pawl that holds the litter gear, OR raises to release it.

There is a 4 winged nut of sorts on the R side by the rear swivel wheel. It is activated by the operators right big toe. Not sure what it does. There is another lever on the Left side, by the left side swivel floor wheel. It activates the dog pawl. It either raises the pawl so that the little gear inside can slide back letting the lifting pod fall down to the base, or it engages the gear teeth in the little gear in the center, holding it in place after each jacking down of the handle, effectivly raising the lifting pod.

I also was in a garage "back in the day" and used those types of floor jacks but without a picture to see just what is what it is hard to comment on that jack.

Your photo program should allow you to Pick any one, or all of the pics to load on the computer. And then upload them to photobucket. And so take 12 just don't load of them up on photobucket. Take pics of other things not only that jack. If that is what you have to do,.
