Looking for...

a website that sells organic herbs and spices that originate from the USA.
We found one called Mountain Rose Herbs but cant find another to compare them to.
We are specifically looking for small bottle and/or jars of organic onion powder, organic garlic powder or granules, and maybe a all purpose cooking spice mix.
Thanks

I have always ordered from herbalcom.com, but they sell in bulk, not small containers. THey list country of origin and organic or not. Their garlic granules are fantastic!

My suggestion for these two would be to dehydrate and powder your own - much fresher, and you know where they originated.

Here are a couple of YouTube videos showing you how:

Frontier Co-op? Starwest Botanicals? Most good companies will tell you origin before you buy. I know I used to order herbs for a company out of the Frontier catalog, and origin was listed right along with the herb.

I just finished vacuum-sealing 10 pounds of onions & 6 pounds of garlic. It completely filled all nine trays of the Excalibur and dehydrated down to 2 quarts and not quite 1 pint each:

I have tried to sell our herb to buyers. Do you realize how many passion flower leaves it takes to make the 5 lb minimum? Well we grow just for ourselves now. We grow enough for our annual needs and soap making.
