Seems $27 a set is a decent price.. yep, the shipping isn't nice, but you should see what I just paid for shipping and hazardous fees for a little BP...

This place here has them for $12.25 a handle.. maybe their shipping will be a little less..

Back 20 years or more ago when I worked at the auction, guys going to Oklahoma brought them back by the pickup load and sold them here. Thought they were cheap there. I just saw some at the giant 4th of July sale in Lostine Or. for $17.50 a set They were unfinished and he had 1000's of handles. Didn't ask him where he got them. I did buy a nice hay fork handle for $7.50, a little sanding and a couple coats of linseed oil and it was good to go....James

Well, since the PO goes by weight, or so does UPS, I imagine the price for shipping will be the same, BUT Ill sure save on the origional price. THANKS ALOT.

Hey Bill,
You got any Amish or Mennonite stores around? You can get about any kind of handle you want from them. One of the fellas I used to live by would custom make any handle you want if you couln't find a commercial replacemnt.

Not necessarily.....lot of folks on Fleabay make money on their shipping.

Companies too for that matter.

I was all set to order a couple of saw blades (small ones) from a place that had a good price on the blades, but their shipping was 20 bucks. They would have easily fit in a "if it fits, it ships" USPS box for under 10 bucks, so I didn't order. AND I emailed them to tell WHY I didn't order.

People that sell online must not shop their own stuff, (or think we don't) or they would get serious about competition. I buy a lot online, and am constantly amazed at price differences, as well as shipping, for the EXACT SAME article.

Be aware that backing out of sale will cause an Ebay strike against you. The shipping is always stated for you to see before you bid.
