Tractor mounted wood post driver

I am considering making a post driver,

Does any one have any tips on using one?

If you own one how do you like it?

In your opinion, do the post last as long or damaged in driving them?

What make do you have?

My idea is to make one like the Shelbourne 180.

I have owned as many as 5 Shaver HD- 8 post drivers. I almost bought an HD -10 but saw one operate and was much slower than my HD- 8. I would highly recommend them. I have driven thousands of posts in hard dry GA clay.

Not for wood posts but I am going to put in some metal T Posts using my front end loader bucket to push them into the ground. I saw someone do this one time, he had weight in the bucket and had welded a short piece of metal pipe(3 Inch) to bottom of bucket to keep post in place while letting bucket down to push post into ground.
