Can't and won't come to the brrrrr north but do want to send my best wishes and congratulations. Going back to school when not a kid is very hard; finishing despite all of the responsibilities when an adult is difficult. (I did it in my 20s unmarried, childless and thought I'd die.)

Hope it's a great party.

He did so good! I'm so proud of him. He graduated with 3.94. Not bad working 140 hrs a week with 8 children! I'm so happy for him. This degree has been a goal for as long as I have known him. 24 long years. Now he can hold himself high!

He works 170 hours weekly, graduated with a 3.94 and has 8 kids? I would ask how he had the time or energy to produce the 8 but won't; that would be impolite. I'm guessing Kryponite is his only foe. J/K. WOW! I'm in awe.

I'm sorry! It was to be 140 hrs a week. My bad guys. Shoul have seen the error as there is only 168 hrs in a week.

Maybe I need to go back to school and I admit, math was not my favorite but that leaves 4 hours a day to sleep, eat, drive to class, attend class, shower, kiss wife and kids, and study!

I often didn't see dh for weeks on end. This is the most I have ever seen him in 15 year of blissful togetherness. It's weird! We are learning whole new things about each other. Kids would often hand me the phone and tell me to hold my husband as i was too moody. I often seen him about ever 2-5 weeks.

It's a joke we have. He took two days off a year one to get us with child and one to be there when child entered the world. The rest of the time he was working. Oh how I wish I was joking.

Now that he has that degree he'll be spending more time at work because he's just so qualified now. :-)
Congrats on your hard work, he couldn't have done it without you keeping the fort operable without him there.
What was his field of study? Just curious.
Oh, and tell him congrats from all of us @ HT, too.
