Yeah- I saw that woman's hygene thread with 2000 plus view and 50 posts. Kind creeps me out to think of who's actually doing a search to come up with that to view. Shudder...................

Beside which I was curious to see if there are any males out there who actually care about hygene.............

I've learned the hard way when a thread is titled "Women Only....." I really don't want to be there anyway. The last one had the phrase "Granny rags" in the first sentence. That was enough for me!

Why shame the women? I'd bet dollars to donuts that a good many men-folk are in the 2000+ viewers of that thread.

Nothing wrong with wanting to know how the other gender ticks. Makes getting along lots easier!

I have often found out very valuable information by reading about male health and hygiene. Lots of things out there that neither men or women know about. Knowledge is never wasted.

Besides anything that is posted on a public site is just that - public. And male health and hygiene is not a secret society. Any information that women find out they can and do pass on to husbands and sons. Same for men reading information about female health and hygiene. Pass it on to your wives and daughters.

Most people posting about gender health or hygiene mark it so that those who don't want to stumble into this sort of topic can avoid it. A simple courtesy - just as those who warn that their post is about snakes or mice.

Up to a certain age it is women, mommas to be exact, who keep the male world clean. Been there, done that.

My second managed to get really dirty all the time, I mean, I never saw a kid that got so dirty. I said, Henry, how do you manage to get so dirty. That was in the seventies. He said, it probably is from airpollution. After a certain age I did not concern myself anymore. The dirty fingerprints on the wall just got higher. Then came a time when I hollered, don't stay in the shower so long, you are wasting hot water.

I'm old enough to know what to, old enough to wash it myself and old enough to know it can be a lot of fun if somebody you really like washes it for you.

We take for granted the daily showers. In the old (old) days, however, baths were a once a week thing except for a dip in the river or pond in the summer. And since they worked all day in the fields and with animals, it could not have been too pretty.

That does it. I've kept away from that women's thread long enough. Where is it?
