Poultry safe flea treatment for yard?

Anybody know of a flea treatment for the yard that would be safe for my free range poultry? We are having alot of wet weather too which makes everything harder to treat. I have never had a flea problem, but this year is different. It must be the weather, along with the fleas getting immune to the Revolution I put on my dogs. Would sevin dust be suitable?

Our chickens always ate the fleas. Keep the grass mowed and clear out plant life under bushes Plant fleabane, such as lavender. DE is great, until it gets wet, so if you use it, put it in places it will stay dry.

Diatomaceous earth... a sand like substance, which is the silicon skeleton of an ocean dwelling algae. As they die they form deposits which are latter mined.

I thought the chickens *were* the flea treatment!

Ok, no more unhelpful replies from me today...

In the chicken coop, we use pymitherin based sprays for mites & lice. I know it is safe for chickens, but I don't know that I would want to spray it on the yard.

I never had a problem before this year. I had guineas and they were the best. The ducks ate locusts the best though. But this year it has rained almost every single day and the fleas are awful. I will have to bathe all four dogs this weekend UGH : ( And de-flea the cats with a flea comb and bowl of water/flea soap. Luckily I don't have carpet or much upholstered furniture for fleas to hide in.

We also use the food grade DE in our animal feed (goats, horses, poultry, cattle, dogs and cats) it will rid them of internal parasites.
