Free Singlewide

Not sure what forum to put this in. This one seems the best fit. If not, mods please move it.
Just cruising CL & thought maybe someone could use or would want this.

Free if you can haul it!! (Not a joke, just need this thing gone)

My Grandmother-in-law does not have the money to move this trailer and the landlord needs it moved to rent the space. If you want it and can move it, its yours.

If it's an older singlewide, it may not be worth the money to move it - dismamtle it, sell the frame and all metal parts (sides?) to a recycler. That'd pay for having someone dismantle it. With our poor economy here, we have people willing to come load your metal for free.

That looks pretty good in the pictures. At least it is clean. If I were close I would take it. Someone who wants to homestead and has their land, here would be an option for temporary housing until you build your forever home. After you moved out, it would make a good storage building.

The problem with those, here where it rains a lot, is if it was not roofed over, they rot bad right around the walls at the floor and need a new floor. I have seen many of them, repaired many too. The water gets in at the roof, windows and seams of the metal siding, plus the condensation from the metal siding. Before moving, pull all the carpet back and check. Most are 1"x2" wall studs and very little insulation, expensive to heat. Temporary use only. Best for those owners to walk away and let the park owner to rent it out IF usable....James We see this in a lot of older parks now. Owners have nothing to show for their investment and are aging without housing....James

I've come across a lot of free mobile homes... my trouble is for the longest, the 'turn' off my dirt road was too narrow. Other trouble is getting em hauled home. Do know some folks that just hook a tractor up to em and haul em down the highway, with a couple of trucks in front and back waving off traffic...

Ive got a 12 X 36 utility shed. Im going to clean it out, then put boxes of light stuff from inside the house in it. My boy thinks he can haul it on my 22 X 10 trailer house turned flat bed trailer. and his 1 ton pk truck.

I would be more than happy to give the mobile I already have free to some one too!
It would solve a lot of my problems.

I just thought maybe someone whos in that area might be able to use it.
I was looking for trailer space for a little rv I have when I came across the add.
