Magic W wrench

You know how you find something you were not even looking for when you look in the internet.

I am messing with concrete and thought, when I am done with this little slab, I think I want to make a few pavers to pave the way over to the chicken house.
So I found this and it looks like this is what I want for my birthday. Has anyone used it and does it perform as advertised?

Nothing new about that design at all. I have this one for years that I use to take hoses off sink faucets. You know the one that is WAY up there, attached to the faucet itself, the end that is hard to get at. LOL

I am glad you are aware of it and it is not really new (though new tome). So did you look at the video and would you recommend the gizmo?

..............That style of wrench , will , literally , chew the corners off of a hex nut when making the final "Pull" to get the nut tight !!! It will work great on pipe , although not as well as a regular pipe wrench . And , if one examines the construction closely , you will observe it is made from several layers of cheap metal and probably held together with some Chinese rivets ! , fordy

All that being said, Id like one for the times when a wrench just wont fit. IF I chew off the corners of a nut getting it off cause nothing else ZI have will get it off because of location, well, I can get a new nut. The alternative is torching it off.

Well, the things we learn here.
I have one of those gizmos in the tool chest & had no idea what it was for!

Now I know!

They do chew the corners on nuts pretty badly and they aren't that strong the pin that holds them together is rather small and if there is a lot of resistance they will deform or break.
