My husband made ours. Just wittled down a piece of wood to what he wanted!

Some of them have 4 or 5 screws as opposed to 3. I got my "new" handle at an auction where there were several hand saws in bad condition but with good handles. I used one of the handles that fits. Most of these old saws have good metal in them. I cut up the the saw blade and made "scraper" blades out of it. Those of you into old fashioned wood working will know what I am talking about.

I think both the old saws cost me about $3. Had another saw missing the "rivet" screws so ended up with a couple to fix it.

I saw that handle when I googled but I thought it went to a certain saw.I"m not sure whether his has 3 rivets or not.I will show it to him.

He said he cut several pieces to try to make his own but they all split.

Most good hand saw handles now are made out of laminated wood (similar to plywood but with better core layers) just because of that problem.
