Cone-nose bugs, help!!!!!!

We are infested with cone nose bugs and need some organic ideas for getting rid of them. Do chickens or ducks eat them? Will DE help?
I must have at least 10 bites from them on me right now and they itch. Is there something that works well on their bites?
Thanks for any help you can give me.

A description of what they look like would help. Me being in Florida, the only cone nosed bugs I know of aren't bugs but are misquitos. They use their nose (probiscus) to drill a hole in your skin and suck blood.

To be able to help you we need a discription. What color are they? What is their length? What length are the wings?
