Question wringer washer parts help

I was given a Blackstone model RX 3 or B (tag is a little scratched). The rollers have seen better days and the metal spring that holds pressure on the top roller is bent. Does anyone know where I can find parts? Any info about what I have would be great. Serial # is RXA 2925

I looked online but did not find anything. I do not have internet at home so I have to go to McDonald's to get online, and my battery only lasts about an hour, so I can't just sit here and search all night.

I'm really hoping some nice person can help me out.
Thanks a million
Buck

This is a Maytag wringer washer site, but someone on there may be able to help you or you may find that parts are interchangeable. At least it might be a start: http://www.maytagshed.com/

Karen, unless I missed something, the site you gave is for the gas engines Maytag made, thanks.

Helena, I have no idea if the parts would interchange. I really know nothing about these things (wringer washers). I really doubt I'd find another one to use the wringer. It took me months to get the one I have now. I asked everyone I know about one, and even took an ad out on the local radio station. Still took me months to come up with one.

I was really shocked that I could not even find anything out about the company. I found info on my pre-war wind up mantel clock, my post-war non-electric typewriter, and my treadle sewing machine, but I've come up short on this one.

Thanks for the responses.

Was entertaining last nite looking up info on the net, I learned a lot about the may tag I have.

Sounds like your brand was the Cadillac of washers, but not much parts around any more, and less hobby support for that brand.

Someone does have parts manuals, but wasn't able to track down your model number at all, not even close to your numbers.....

You can probably have wooden rollers turned on a wood lathe and hardware stores have assortments of extension and compression springs.....Joe

Oh well, thanks for the effort. I guess this thing must be really old, the bushings that the rollers (for the wringer) ride on/in are made of wood.

Again, thanks.
