I started patching 3 holes in my spare bedroom walls.

I just got done gutting the room. Wiring starts tomorrow after work.

Yep, that's the way it always starts, doesn't it?

My wife accuses me of putting earrings on a pig. Everything would look just a little bit better if I just -----. Today she reminded me I'm building a sheep barn, not a piece of furniture.

Yup. Wanted new windows in the living room. All the brick had to come off the outside wall, as it was *leaning* away from the wall. Turns out the sill plate was rotten. New sill, new paneling, paint, new trim, new flooring. Painting the REST of the interior, too.

Trying not to go crazy in the kitchen. Sigh.

Lol, i keep thinking of good ideas the deeper i get. This room would be much better if the door was in the other wall. And i can make the hallway closet the closet for this room. And the hallway will be wasted space after i move the door. So i could shorten it and make a new closet. But im just trying to make it presentable to sell. The next owners might want to tear the whole place down and start over.

The perfectionist in me couldnt stand patching holes and painting to match. One whole wall was made of little scrap pieces of drywall, and you could see every joint. Not only was it scrap pieces, but it was used drywall they put on backwards, there was wallpaper on the inside of the wall.
