Kind of dumb fence question :)
I have 2 unused rolls of Redbrand 48" galvanized no climb horse fencing.
I've had it in storage for a while and the label is missing, how can I tell if it's 100' or 200' without unwinding it?
The rolls are about 15" in diameter.

I don't have a way to weigh it, I think you're right but I need to know for sure before I put it on CL.
I may have to go look at it in the store.

Go to a retailer that offers it and measure.

Count the "rounds" then find the middle one-----measure it all the way around----multiply that measurement by the total of rounds------Should give you a real close quess-ta-ment!

Judging by the picture, I'd say 100'. I've been lusting after that stuff for about 8 years. . . however, I need close to 2000' just to do the perimeter of my pasture. You don't happen to have 18 more rolls hiding at your place, do you?

I hear you, if I had that much I'd be doing our whole pasture with it, but that's not going to happen unfortunately.

I worked for a chain link fence company for awhile..They would get contracts to put up high way fence... They would special order it any length they wanted. The biggest one I remember was about 10ft tall,,laying on the truck bed flat down.
Over heard them one time bidding a job and saying the supplier would order any length, of any style he sold, you wanted. If you need 2000 ft..might be cheaper than you think.

Horse wire is generally in 100 ft rolls, unless you special ordered. The cattle wire (red top) is 220 feet.
Go down to the store and measure the diameter of the wire they are selling. A 200 ft will be a lot thicker roll than a 100.
Those look like 100 ft to me. Although I wasn't aware that horse wire came in 48 inch tall. It has always been 5 ft tall. You are talking about the wire that is heavy gauge and the squares are 2 inches by 4 inches?
