Have you eaten your "bugs" today?

Another really good idea from the UN. /s

"The thought of eating beetles, caterpillars and ants may give you the creeps, but the authors of a U.N. report published on Monday said the health benefits of consuming nutritious insects could help fight obesity.
More than 1,900 species of insects are eaten around the world, mainly in Africa and Asia, but people in the West generally turn their noses up at the likes of grasshoppers, termites and other crunchy fare."

Well...... I suspect only eating anything that tastes bad help fights obesity.

Most people don't eat three helpings of eggplant.....Carrot cake... that's another thing.

I ate a roasted grasshopper once. Do you remember when you were a kid and caught grasshoppers in a jar for fish bait? Remember what the jar smelled like after about half and hour? That's what a roasted grasshopper tastes like.

Yep, you're not going to catch me over eating those.
