Side Delivery Hay Rake ID Help

We have this very rusted hay rake that we cannot ID, even a manufacturer would help. So if anyone recognizes it could you let me know as much info as you can.

I have looked at many makes and models but can't find one with those end hubs (not sure what they are called) most of them seem to be like a solid plate, these have spokes for want of a better explanation. I am using google images to look but nothing.

That is unusual, it looks modern - as in 1950 or newer - but not the common JD or New Holland setups for sure, and doesnt look 'familiar' to the other bigger brands out there.

The single crank is unusual, that should be a big clue.

What does the gearcase look like, or is it chain or blet drve?

I guess it reminds me a lot of a New Holland, but the bar hubs and single crank are just all wrong?

It doesn't show in the pics but we think there may be some orange paint, possibly faded red but looks more orange, on the bar that the crank leads to.

Thanks to all for any help they can give,

Carol

New Holland?

The hubs at the ends of the basket are called "spiders".

it's very similar to my New Idea. Especially the way that the rake is turned on and off
