LOL...sounds like they were just grumping about the weather!

"Mornin' Larry"...
"Mornin' Joe"...

"Lousy weather, eh?"...
"Yup"...

"Dang weatherman never gets it right"...
"No kiddin' Larry"...

"Well, guess I'll mosey on down the road. See ya around Joe"...
"See ya Larry"...

That was cool.

I think it's a tomcat territorial thing. I've seen lots of domestic tomcats doing that, sitting facing each other yowling at each other over territory or a female. Lynx toms would be no different I'm sure.

I'm not sure it is two toms. It kinda reminds me of the last time I saw my second wife.

I had to stop and think about that for a moment since I was pretty sure you don't have whales where you are.

Around here we call the bitterns "boomers" and it's the humpback whales that we call "thunderpumpers". And yes, now that this warm weather is suddenly upon us it sure has livened up outside, the crazy robins started singing at 3:30 a.m. and the flickers were drumming on chimney caps by 4 a.m.
