snow fence

How do you attach your plastic snow fence to steel posts?

I use the nylon zip ties. But sometimes the fencing tears at that spot. Looking for ideas for next year..... if this winter ever goes away

Put a post or stake on the other side of the fence as well, it doesn't have to be driven in, and tie them together in several spots. Doesn't much matter if you use zip ties or wire.
You have the posts on the leeward side of the fence right?

Red face

Hang the fence so the snow blows the fence INTO the post. That should fix any tension problems. Mike

Thanks
I put posts on east side, wind is mostly from west , but sometimes comes from any direction. I have 500 feet of fence so posts on both side is not an option because of cost. Problem is we sometimes get 60-70 mom gusts... that beats on the fencing pretty good
