Online jobs for Homesteaders?

I need a job working for money but also need to stay on the Homestead. Does anyone have suggestions for online jobs that pay money (and not just credit to buy stuff) for writing or just anything.

Our internet is too slow to do most of the typing jobs. Those are timed and we tried it once but our internet would "time out".

Thanks for tips and suggestions.

EBay sales. You have to be able to invest time to find deals though and know what sales. It also might mean sitting on something for a few months to a year. You may have to wait until the holidays to try to sell to get the most return or give it time to become scarce in stores then sell it to someone looking to finish off their collection.

My wife does a lot of Etsy sales... does well with them too when she has time.. a lot of antiques and vintage stuff.. which means she gets to do a lot of estate sales, yard sales and such looking for things...

I bought some gun leather from a guy that does custom leather work he sells through the web only, and he also does website creation and logo and graphics work...

Think of what talents you have, and the things you know a lot about, then think of how you can twist that into cash..

Are you on dial up? Otherwise it shouldn't time out. Can be slow, but not time out? Or does it have lag time issues, like Wild Blue and so forth, or a weak broadcast signal that has to resend packets to catch up on a bad signal?

Anyhow, the Internet connection will be an issue in all of this.

I fear there are so many scam artists trying to peddle Internet work, it will be difficult to find anything worthwhile....

Going into it yourself buying and selling as others suggest makes you your own boss, can work out if you have a head for running your own business.

Meanwhile, There's a work at home thread on HT that goes into much of what HT'ers do for money and to stay home. All the best!

May be a helpful forum for you to read the back threads and ask questions there.

Need to find someone with a copy of Ken's ebook.
He's not here to offer it to you.

Thanks AngieM2. I do have his book and we are reading it for ideas too. Ken was here, at some point, and he emailed it to me. Thank you for the tip. It is a good book.

Thanks to everyone!
