Mantis Tiller Question

Does a Mantis Tiller take the same ratio of oil to gas that a chain saw takes? Namely a Poulin Wyld Thang chainsaw?

I doubt it. That would be too easy. Doesn't it say the ratio needed on the gas cap?

There's a universal 2 cycle oil that's supposed to be usable in any 2 cycle engine and I have used it but I don't care for it. I'd rather keep separate mixes. You could trade in the Poulan for a stihl that uses the same as the Mantis.

I have no idea what a Wild Thing takes. But my Mantis runs 50-1 of good 2 stroke oil. I tend to mix everything a bit richer, about 40-1, and haven't had any problems.
