Question Where's the cheapest price?

Where is the best price to buy rubber gloves and such?
My dh is an x emt, driving truck in North Dakota on the oil fields and often is the first and most times , the only person on Scene of an accident to access and give aid. Then send person off to the hospital or wait for the meat wagon aka ambulance. I need to keep him stocked with supplies as most often no one even has a band aid. I want him protected and able To help but let's face facts were are just breaking even on bills as it is.
I need a good place mostly for gloves and face gear. The dollar tree is a great place for the 4x4 Gause, rolled Gause and bandaids. But we are about to move away from our dollar trees and need a place online.
Any help would be great! Thanks

Will dollarstore.com ship to home or only a store? As we will be moving to North Dakota and there is no dollar tree near us not even 2 hrs away.

Why don't you ask them? Alot of times, you can order from the website and it's free shipping - plus, no sales tax....

Free shipping to store, or shipping to your home with a shipping charge: http://www.dollartree.com/custserv/c...parentName=FAQ

And this looks like a decent site to order the gloves: http://www.edisastersystems.com/stor...ves-c-119.html (disclaimer: no personal experience with them, just found it with a Google search). They've got a bunch of different options, and the average price for a box of 50 nitrile gloves is around $10. Unless your DH is dealing with a lot of accidents, that should be at least a year's supply.

Here are a couple of other highly rated sites, once again, no personal experience:
http://www.chinookmed.com/cgi-bin/ca...category=s-ppe
http://www.rescue-essentials.com/category_s/136.htm

Of course, those all have boxes of 50 for around $10 average, which is 50 cents per glove. If you want the best price, buying in bulk can reduce the cost per glove, and this site has gloves at around 10 cents each: http://glovesaver.com/niexgl.html

Have you looked on Amazon.com? It is amazing the variety of stuff they carry or broker the deal for. Very often, if the order is over $25 they offer their "FREE Super Saver Shipping". It is their slowest shipping method but it is free. Sometimes they will have excellent prices, sometimes not so great, but worth checking.

I'm not sure you want to purchase based on the cheapest price. I work with latex gloves all the time and there's something to be said for putting on gloves without them splitting and breaking apart, especially if you're buying them for medical safety reasons. Please consider a type that is better made and won't "dry rot" over a few months' time. I've found the purple nitrile gloves last longer than the whitish/cream ones.

Agreed, the failure rate of cheap latex and nitrile gloves is remarkable. HF has the cheapest I know of, regularly $0.99 for a box of 100. About half will tear apart as you pull them out of the package. Not worth the cheapness at all.

Dh just dealt with a major hand injury last night. He is often dealing 3 x a week with something. I'm not looking for cheap as there is too much to protect. I'm looking for a good price on quality protection. We get nothing for him helping but it's a service he can freely give and it is so needed.
