We usually cook together a fav meal, I make a sorta dump cake that tastes like hot fudge sundae.
Wed is my everyother month 'old ladies tea' in the neighborhood. So its sorta 'festive' here.

A dump cake? I have never heard of one but it sounds fantastic! Would you mind sharing the recipe?

Don't feel all alone. I'm working Valentine's so we are celebrating today as well. DW decided that she wanted to go to Savannah to shop a little and eat out at Carraba's. Being the wonderful hubby that I am, and not to mention the fact that Savannah has TSC, Harbor Freight and Krispy Kreme (my kingdom for a box of blueberry cake!), I agreed. Now I just hope my pants still fit tomorrow...

We both have to work Valentines Day and last week I had Monday off so I took a huge card to the florist shop all signed with a sweet message and later this week on Valentines Day they will deliver it with a nice arraignment of a dozen red and white carnations.
I love to have flowers delivered to where my Sweet Wife works because then all the other gals get to see them.

A couple of girls at work receive flowers from their husbands. They love it.

Got a Hot Fudge Sundae Cake in the oven - not going to wait for Valintines day for that.

My Mom made it all the time, we called it Pudding Cake. I use to make it for the kids and then somewhere along the line I lost the recipe card for it, so I've not had it in ages!

BTW - I told my husband long ago that I want my flowers with their roots still attached.

Don't have any ice cream, but it's good without it too!
