Anybody interested in Bloody Butcher seed corn?
I have 2 what I take to be 50# ea boxes they were shipped in, bags? of seed corn. I will NOT break them open to sell out by the lb. $75ea. This is last years seed. I had hoped top be moved long before now and have it planted, but as it looks like that wont happen in time for spring planting, Im going to sell it.

Do you know the maturity date? 90 day, 100 day, etc?

Ross, do you really think you could raise 120 day corn in Canada?

Interesting, it would be a 50-50 proposition here.

We regularly get killing frosts in May and September and they are not unheard of in June and August.

nothings REGULAR here anymore. We used to plant by may, after it had dried up. Now, were I farming this year, Id plant, THIS YEAR, around the end of Feb, DEPENDING on hnow I THINK the weather may turn ou, But FOR SURE, by the first 1/2 of March.
Id rather get it froze out than burtnt out. That way, I could re disck, and replant again, OR sow Sudan Grass, and go with that. Planting it in april or May, is just gonna insure it gets burnt out, and I MAY NOT have the rain to replant in WSG Even tho I would have plenty of time to get at least one cutting.
