How cold is it where you are ?

Only 12 below zero here two mornings in a row, not bad for end of January.
Not warming up much during the day though , up to 5* today, and windy.

75F right now. That is a bit warm for us right now. Usually in the 50's-60's this time of year.

High for the last 4 days has been but 5 degrees F warmer than the low. The high was -24 F. Lows were -30.

Today it is about -15 F, and we have received about 5 inches of snow. something that is quite rare when it is this cold, is to get a blizzard and snowfall of any bigger amount. Usually the snow comes on those days of +15 to +25.

Winchills have been for the last 5 days, between -35 and -45 F. Which is also kind of rare. Usually with cold, the wind settles down, but this cooler snap has had higher winds than is normal with these temps...

You can't brag about how cold it is where you live. It's like the old west fast guns, there is always someone faster or lower.

That said, it was -36 on tue morning and -21 this morning about a hundred miles east of Fargo. Not bragging, just saying.

It's supposed to get into the low teens for highs this weekend.

It's sunny, clear, and 80* right now according to my outdoor themometer. If it didn't seem so ridiculous to do so in January, I would probably turn on the A/C for a bit.

Not that it is bragging. In July, ya'll will be saying, "Jeez, it's broiling! It's 78* outside." And I will be crawling from my barn, soaked in sweat and chugging iced tea, saying, "78*? That's what my A/C thermostat is set on! Ya'll are nuts!"
