Now, if it is warm enough to have mud, you might want to reconsider on that....
Been near zero every night, been walking like a 90 year old to get across the yard here on the ice, and had 2 cattle fall down on their ice patch, one I was able to save, the other one I didn't see in time, she didn't make it.
While I enjoy living in Minnesota, ice has not ever been fun around here, as it doesn't go away for a long, long time when it comes.
Unusual January, been cold, but a few days have gotten to 35 degrees and we get these very light rains, which soaks up the couple inches of snow we have and turns it into ice, anywhere we drive ot walk, the compacted snow has turned into sheets of ice.
So of course, a person needs to walk in the places we've walked and driven, so of course we have to walk on the ice....
