Guinea Behaviour ?

Why are they constantly gathering at the back door? Glass door wooden porch sun shines on the back side of house. How to remedy it? We chase them off twenty times an hour if we want the poorch to stay half way clean. HELP

They are probably seeing their reflection in the glass door, I have an old pickup with large crome bumpers and my guineas spend hours looking at themselves in it and pecking at it. Guineas are crazy birds, just one of the many annoying things they do! But I like them anyway, I figure since they keep the tick population down to nothing I can put up with their weird behavior.

Either that or get rid of the house.

Maybe you can set them up with another area they will like better?
Try leaning a mirror against something away from the house.

Ditto on the mirror. Guineas LOVE to look at themselves in a mirror. THEY think that they are gorgeous.

Supply a better mirror and cover the glass on the door for a few days. Maybe your problem will go away.

Maybe they want more food with pasture lacking over winter? Like chickens, you know their hoppers empty when they chase you.
