To copy and past, use the RIGHT button instead of the left one.

First you press the left button, draw the cursor over what you want to copy and it will be highlighted, then you click the RIGHT hand button and you will see a selection of tasks, choose copy and the highlighted area will be stored in the memory.

To past, choose where you want it to be, and then right click. Choose paste.
