gun posing question.
Its late. 1 00 or later. I pull into a QT to get gas. Theres hardly nobody there. I go to the back to get cash outa my CC. While in the back I either hear shouting or a gun shot. I pull my 2 Crosman revolvers I have, which I took when I saw it was nearly deserted. I think that, more than likely they intend to be as quick as possible, and so, I dont think they will go to the back of the store. I figure they are at the front desk, and near the door if theres more than one, which is likely.. I work myself to the edge of the aisle , which is around 20ft from the counter. I wait while peeking around the corner and getting a aim. There are 3. Its winter so they are wearing coats, and full sock caps over the face, I figure the sock cap will not hinder the pellet as much as the coat, and wait for him to move the gun from the attendant. When he does, I fire, he at around 25/30ft. I hit him in the head.

Having never shot anybody with them before, Im asking would that be a deterrent. Would he still be thinking about getting away, or would he decide to sit down and think about it a minute.
Id have another 17 shots, IF he decided to find where he got shot from, Which, id think his mind might be a bit unsettled about it all. More than likely, IF he was of sound mind, hed decide to go home to think about it if he could. Maybe I could get another back shot in before he left or not.

I think shooting someone with a pellet gun that is holding a real gun can get you very dead, very quickly.
I've been shot with a pellet gun, and while it has a considerable sting, it really isn't much of a deterrent, especially if the bad guy is already hyped up on adrenaline or something even stronger.
Unless you hit him in the eye you're not going to hurt him very much.

You just brought a pellet gun to a real gun fight. Bad move. Best to find a way out of the back of the store or hide and only use the pellet guns if cornered.

You'll probably be shot dead approximately 5 seconds after he figures out where the pellet came from. I mean come on, get real!!!

U all been watching too much TV. In real life, somebody gets shot, BY nearly anything, they dont keep comeng on. They get out while the gettings good..
I was 5ft from a guy with a lock blade, and he pulled out a 22 and when I saw it, I had had enough. I likely could have closed with him before he shot me, But just seeing it was enough for me. I took off and got it in the cheeks on the tail bone.. It was a starter pistol drilled out and shooting 22 shorts.
If I put a pellet from a gas powered Crosman 9 shot revolver into somebodies head, Id think that would hurt his thinking. I rather get the idea that you have not been shot by the pistol im talking about. I havnt either. Like it sounds to me, you might know something of being shot with a pellet or BB outa hand cocked, no gas BB pistol. I have, As was said, It stings, AND if I had to face a doz or so of even those, you could have it. Id pass, no matter what kind of gun I held..
A BB pistol you have to manually cock for each shot.. A Gas operated pistol has alot more power, and goes as fast as you can pull the trigger. With 2 guns at 9 ea, IF it had power to hurt bad, I wouldnt worry about not killing or wounding them too much.
Heck, I wouldnt try to take on somebody with a paint ball gun, if he got the first shot in and it hit me in the chest at 20ft, Ive been hit at 50ft, and that was all I wanted, and I had a gun also. No protection. I got circled and got hit 3 times before the 3 realized another had got me. That was the first and last time I played paint ball. Still got the gun, but its too big to try to hide,

BILL <> You said there were three of the owlhoots in the joint. What are the other two doing while you are playing Cops and Robbers?? You would have done more damage if you had thrown a quart of oil at them.

Knee jerk reaction - guy you shot swings his gun and shoots the attendent. Making you responsible for him being "really" shot....... not just stung!
Or since you are posing the question.... The attendent pressed the silent alarm - in come the cops - you are there with a "gun" - guess who(m) also gets shot........

Hyped up on certain drugs, even a REAL gun won't stop someone right away.

FBB if you hear shouting (where un-expected) or a shot call 911 and stay the heck outa the way. Unless you're in a position to really help..... which you're not as you describe. Never heard of a 9 shot Crosman revolver either come to that.

Well, the onliesest other guns id have is 2 36 C&P revolvers. One Colt one Rem. I suppose you all would be down on them too. AND THO, If I was carrying them and the cops came in, like somebody already said, I AM carrying REAL guns. There a bit kinda hard to hide. Magine thats why people who wore coats in the old days, wore long ones.
NAH, I stopped into a QT around 12 15, and got the thought last night after leaving lounge to go home.

Will asked what the other 2 would be doing. Id magine the one by the door inside would either stay there, or get outside and be keeping a lookout for bright red and blue lights. The one in the middle would likely try to figure what suddinly happened to his pal, neither hearing anything with the shouting and adrineline pumping, and try to get him out

I heard on the news that the average waiting time for a FBI check on someone applying for the permit went from a week to 4 months.
Im not going to be out at that time, other say than a few times, MAYBE New Years being one. BUT, Im smart enough to get gass or whatever BEFORE IO go out, Not after.
Unless something unfortold happens, and plus that, I got money to burn, Ill likely never get a permit.. The C&Bs seem to be getting front heavy lately.
WIHH Im doubting, at the age of 11 or whatever you could tell the difference between a Daisy BB gun, and a Crosman revolver. ALSO. I remember back around 69 thereabouts I had a BB gun on a Frontier Colt frame or look. BUT THESE ARE NOT DAISY. THEY HIT HARDER. I think. I been shot by a daisy. Hurt like hai,, but I got over it quick enough.
Maybe thats where I first learned to be a good dancer LOL.

Just pull up to the gas pumps and put your debit card in the slot, pump your gas, and be on your way.
Saves all of the trouble and is safer and faster.

Quick-stop type stores are more than 95% of the time robbed by a single person; a gang means they're doing a smash and grab, in which case they'd hit, grab what they were after, and be out of there, not standing around.
If you think your life or someone else's life is in danger, shoot to kill, otherwise you're just playing with them.
