Is HomesteadingToday hanging up on anyone else?

Seems like the forum is hanging up quite a bit lately on both the home and work computer (other sites seem to work fine). Most times, navigating through another channel does the trick, so it is not a complete lockup just a bad link or something.

Yes, on me, too. Often, for the last month or so. However, I only use a public access computer at the Library, so I had thought that was the reason why. Maybe not!

Yup here too, for quite sometime.
Also never stops loading, even tho it appears to be fully loaded. Every page I go to have to hit the STOP loading button.
Just had to hit it again to stop the load.

Uploading photos is every so long for me. Sometimes the photo never uploads just sits there saying it is loading but isn't.

I have been getting waiting on signs---sometimes its waiting on ads and sometimes its waiting on googleanyletics. once the ad loads the page loads fine. hope this isn't just something we have to put up with for the sake of the site.

If you use firefox with noscript you can block google analytics or any other site that causes those issues. You just mark them as untrusted.

I have dialup so my computer is not really fast
anyway, but lately it is so slow I have trouble
being here.

I have to wait a REALLY long time for a post to
open. Then when I want to go to the next page,
another VERY long wait.

I am on HT alot and it is becoming very distressing.

I do not have these issues anywhere else. Even
Ebay and Amazon with all of their pictures does
not give me a problem.

I am truly hoping that things will go back to normal
for me soon!

Only when I send a post, or edit it. I can swap around between threads just fine.

Guys, I don't think it is this site. I have been having the same type of problem all over the WWW. It is some type of interference...I am thinking government or official virus to tamper with our access to information world wide.

I agree. I can go else where, E-bay, shop on line at other stores and no problem.
Until I come back here.

I have intentionally waited to see how long it took to load a page just last week.
Went and got firewood chopped, stacked then came back in.It was still waiting to load a good hour later!

Load what tho I have no idea, cause everything appeared to be loaded, that should have been...?

RIght now I have waited over 20 mins to post this response...its still:
Transferring data from feeds.feedburner.com

EDIT to make it a little more clearer.
I should say my reason for waiting over 20 mins before hitting send, was to see if it would ever finish loading that page, before sending. It didn't.

They, however are not the only ones, that delay a load of any HT pages.
*sigh*
