Missouri! Learn how to put up a Hoop House!

Saturday December 8th. 9AM Williamsburg, MO

If you ever wanted to learn how to put up a hoop house or green house, then this could be your lucky day. Hopefully we will get most of it done this weekend. We will grill for lunch and dinner.

Things to bring. Tall step ladders and cordless drills.

Pictures to follow.

I would like to know how you intend to build the end walls? I have put my gothic style hoophouse up and it wobbles leagth ways when it is pushed on. My solution is to add a brace in the inside from the high point angled down to the ground. You may also check out the site at the KERR Center in Poteau OK. These are small hoops but work well.Wish I could travel up your way to help but, I need to work on mine as the cold is coming.

I put the plastic on mine a couple weeks back.By myself. Leanto 28x10 against the polebarn. The radishes, musclen, spinach are comeing up. I suspect they won't make it,but I had to experimet anyway. We don't get much sun here in mich during the winter. I'll be planting again in March.

Very, very, tempting, Randy. I am just a wee bit too far away, plus I can finally start to finish our goat pens. The forecast calls for 50's. Perfect weather for hoop house work! Have a great day!

Go to site for Au Natural farm in Kentucky. I bought their book and it shows them growing in 19 degree weather. The greens wilt but come back when the day heats up.
