Alternate uses for rabbit cages?

I have about 5 of the really nice Bass triple stack rabbit hutches (large ones). I don't want to get rid of them, we may decide to raise rabbits again later, but does anyone have any suggestions for other uses for them?

They have baby saver wire if that makes any difference.

You could use them for chicks---if you want some. I just do not like the chickens in mine, I just get 2 screw in hook and screw them into the rafters of my tractor shed and hang the extra cages up there---out the way.

Keeping houseplants or starting seeds away from curious toddlers and cats
To dry small amounts of hay or large amounts of herbs. Cut the grass over the septic tank and toss it in!
To store anything that could use some air circulation.

The gentleman I talked to about raising meat pigeons agreed that my large rabbit cages would be good pigeon coops. They're so fat that they can't fly, so they don't need flight cages. I have 8x2 foot cages back-to-back, and this would give them plenty of room. Want to raise pigeons?

Thanks for the ideas guys! I thought about chicks in them but I'd have to put something down on the floor so their legs wouldn't go through. Never thought about air drying things in them!

I was thinking quail as well. I love hearing mine and watching them. They are very entertaining, taste good, grow fast, and start laying very quickly.

We put quail in them. Put chicks in them outside on grass on warm days. I store square hay bales on pallets, covered by a tarp. I put the rabbit cages on top of the bales under tarp for air circulation.
